Why Italy is one of the most educational trips for school children

As a teacher, trying to adapt your lesson plans into something enjoyable yet educational and still sticking to the syllabus can be a real challenge. To capture the children’s attention for more than 10 minutes, you need to be really inventive.

When it comes to geography or history, there are millions of places you can choose from. But Italy is such a diverse place that it is still relevant to take a cookery class! They take such pride in the simplest of meals.

School trips to Italy are a fantastic idea for any subject as there is so much to see and learn but everyone will still enjoy it. Visiting new places and learning about new cultures is a life experience that text books and a classroom just cannot give.

Learning about different cultures allows children to understand about equality and diversity in an exciting and experimental way. Tasting new foods, learning a new language, the change of climate… It’s a never ending list of educational fun!

The beautiful sights will be an inspiration for the children and draw in more interest on the subject in general. It’s not just the art and architecture that will excite them, it’s the little touches that can make a journey magical. Like the fabulous famous ice cream and the incredibility supportive football fans.

If that’s not enough, there’s even something else that may interest the older visitors. Italy is very well known for high fashion and has been since the 11th Century, so teenagers are sure to take note.

A school trip to Italy will be the most remarkable of trips and the children will be bursting full of knowledge, interest and excitement when they next step into that classroom.
